The Office Administrator will provide clerical and administrative support to the management staff of the Office of Business Engagement (OBE). The Surrogate Court is almost certain to touch the lives of every person in the county at some time, often during challenging or emotional life events. The Surrogate probates wills, appoints Guardians for minors, handles applications for Adult Incapacitated Persons, Conservatorships, Adoptions, and more.
Under close supervision, performs routine, repetitive clerical work involving the processing, distribution, filing, and archiving of documents in a variety of functions within the County Surrogate Court; does other related duties as required.

Case Coordinator, Office of the County Adjuster
Civil Service Title: Community Service Aide
Under direction of the County Adjuster, assists with the administration of commitments to county and state hospitals and institutions; assists with the administration of firearm applications; and does related work as required.
The project coordinator position is a junior-level position working within a project team dynamic to plan, execute and deliver projects within scope, budget and on schedule. Responsibilities for this position include administrative tasks such as organizing and scheduling meetings, creating presentations, document management, recording meeting minutes and other tasks as assigned. The project coordinator must have good organizational, time management, and communication capabilities and may also run small to medium projects independently.
This position is an intermediate-level project manager position responsible for the management and delivery of projects within scope, budget and on schedule. The project manager must have excellent organizational, communication and time management skills and may reside within a department/office or the Program Management Office. The position is closely aligned with the Program Management Office throughout the project lifecycle.
The Business Analyst works to promote a culture of business, support and present the high energy elicitation process for collecting, storing and directing ideas in conjunction with County’s strategic plan. The Middlesex County Office of Planning seeks an experienced, motivated planner with excellent organizational and communication skills to join its Land Management Group. Under the direction of the Supervising Planner, the Senior Planner will review, coordinate and track land development applications using the County’s new web-based electronic system, “ePlan”. The Senior Planner is responsible for processing all aspects of land development applications, including developers’ agreements and performance guarantees, and communicating staff recommendations to the County’s Development Review Committee, municipalities, and applicants.
